Mike started playing piano at
the age of six. After a few years of classical study his
interest widened to include the progressive music and keyboard
dominated sound of bands like ELP, Genesis, Pink Floyd and
Kansas. Both of these musical disciplines have remained
lifelong pursuits.
Mike was a member of the Doors tribute
band, Crystal Ship and later played in Yesterdays, a Yes
tribute. He is currently playing the music of Led Zeppelin
with
Custard Pie. Michael is also a freelance piano teacher and performs in a
weekly residency at a private club. Mike has a degree in
electrical engineering from Rutgers University.

Eddie Jobson, Patrick Moraz, Rick Wright, Kerry Livgren,
Jurgen Fritz, Rachmaninov, Chopin and Scriabin.
